I realized today that I've gone from an abundance of Apple products to very few this past year. It makes my journey to England feel even closer.
January 2008:
- Mac Pro
- MacBook Pro
- iPod Nano 4GB (Green)
- iPod Classic 160GB
- iPhone 8GB
Today:
- MacBook Pro
- iPod Nano 8GB ( red )
I sold my iPhone in hopes that the new one would be announced / released today. I was half right, in the end I think that's fine. I just got a cheap-o phone on eBay to hold me off until July 11th when the new iPhone is released but I don't think I'm going to get it after all, I'll be in the UK for a year and if the new iPhone requires a contract like its beening advertised as, there's no point in me getting one now.
Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is probably the best device I have ever owned, I just cannot justify the purchase. I don't consider myself losing out by selling my old one either, I sold it for $200 on eBay even with its damages, and the new one is priced at $199 (subsidised of course - but when I get back I won't mind a cell contract.)
